I also included Gómez' bass comping, which I never did try before.with a touch of creative licence at times because of the iffy quality of the source material, and also because I'm not used to the specifics of bass notation (things like glissandi, approaching notes, or percussive use of the bass that do not translate easily to notes). The person who transcribed all of dieser greater Check Evans’ solo does not seem till be mentioned in this Omnibook. quite a leap forward in my then non-existent musical ability. I subsequently purchased the CD, listened to that track until I was able to sing every note of the solo. I was not interested in Jazz (or music) before the day I heard it at a friend's house. Incidentally (or not), this is the very track that made me click with Bill Evans when I was a teenager. Evans also performed it live with saxophonist Stan Getz it appeared on the album But Beautiful. This is a transcription I made from "Emily" as played on the Milestone album "You're Gonna Hear From Me", recorded live in Copenhagen 1969.
